Chalet "La Gélinotte" is a superb traditional chalet with a 180° panoramic view of the Aravis mountain range. Quietly located, it's only a few minutes' drive from the villages of Combloux and Megève, renowned for their entertainment, stores and restaurants.
The 200 m2 chalet is built in pure mountain style, in larch wood (inside and out), and blends perfectly into the landscape. Enjoy comfort and authenticity.
The main floor features a vast living room with a beautiful contemporary fireplace. Ideal for evenings reading a book, surfing the web or watching TV. A dining room occupies the other part of the floor, close to the kitchen. Opening onto the living room, it is equipped with all the equipment you need to prepare traditional Savoyard meals: fondue, raclette, pierrade, etc....
Comfort is the watchword in this family chalet, where there's room for everyone.
The 5 bedrooms on two floors sleep up to 10 people. They are all decorated in a warm, Savoyard style and feature fitted closets. 4 of them have access to balconies where you can enjoy the view of the mountains.
3 bathrooms and 5 WCs complete the sleeping arrangements!
The basement (adjoining the garage) features a TV lounge equipped with a 65" screen and Netflix subscription. There's also a children's corner with games, books and DVDs.
On the housekeeping side, you'll appreciate the checkroom with shoe dryers, as well as the laundry room equipped with washing machine, dryer and ironing board.
Garage and 2 private parking spaces take the hassle out of finding a parking space!
The services on offer are commensurate with the layout and facilities: personalized welcome, supply of household linen (bed linen, towels and kitchen linen), cleaning (in, out and 2x2h per week), bed preparation, wifi internet, toiletries in every bathroom, small grocery store for your arrival.
Of course, the usual charges (water, electricity, gas, internet, tourist tax and VAT) are included in the rent.
Other optional services are available:
baby-sitter, baby kit, electric vehicle charging point (separate meter), daily cleaning, etc...
A large terrace (approx. 75m²) is ideal for relaxing after a hike, or sharing a meal with family or friends.
A large table with chairs for 12 guests, 6 deckchairs, 2 3x3m parasols and an electric plancha make this a particularly convivial and popular spot.
Megève and Combloux offer such a wide range of activities that it's impossible to list them all: hiking, mountain biking, cycling, climbing, golf, paragliding, canyoning, tennis, flying, swimming pool, biotope lake, horse riding, high mountains, summer tobogganing, MB Race, etc....
not forgetting: exhibitions, cinema, museums, media library, bridge, casino, spa, yoga, fitness, field hockey matches and even language courses!
Label 5 cœurs awarded in 2019 by the Combloux Tourist Office.
Chamonix is 1/2 hour away, and Geneva 1 hour.
